Your domain name

Your domain name is the address of your website (for example yourcompany.com) and the address of your email (contact@yourcompany.com). At Simafri, it is included and managed for you.

Is my domain name included?

Yes. Your domain name is included in your subscription and managed by Simafri. There is no technical step for you to take for it to work with your website and with your Simafri Suite email.

Who owns my domain?

You do. Your domain name is registered in your name. Simafri handles its technical management as part of your subscription, but it remains yours.

How does renewal work?

The renewal of your domain is covered by your subscription. There is nothing for you to watch or to pay separately for it to stay active.

Can I use a domain I already own?

Yes. If you already have a domain name, Simafri can use it for your website and your email. Tell your Simafri support, who will organise the changeover without interrupting what already works.

Does mail arrive automatically on my domain?

Yes. Simafri sets up mail routing to your Simafri Suite addresses. The state of each domain is shown in your client area, Simafri Suite section, under "Mail routing".

Can I have an address with a specific extension (.com, .co.uk, .mg, etc.)?

Several extensions are possible depending on the availability of the name. Tell your Simafri support your preference when your service is set up, or for a later change.
