Connect your AI assistant

Simafri Suite email connects to your AI assistant through MCP (Model Context Protocol), the open protocol that Claude, ChatGPT and the leading assistants speak. Once connected, your assistant handles your mail for you: it reads, searches, replies, writes, files and schedules your messages, in your mailboxes, under your name.

What your assistant does with your email

ActionWhat the assistant does
Readgoes through your mailboxes and their folders, unread messages, a whole thread with its attachments
Read attachmentsthe text of a PDF, a Word document, an Excel spreadsheet, a presentation, a zip file; images, which it looks at
Searchwithin a mailbox, by subject, text, correspondent or attached file name
Reply and writereplies in a thread, to the sender or to all, writes a new message, with copies, blind copies and attachments
Forwardpasses a message on to someone else, attachments included
Schedulesets the time a message goes out, lists scheduled messages and recalls one
Filemoves a thread to the archive, the trash or the inbox, marks it as read or unread
Sort out unwanted mailreports spam and blocks its sender, unsubscribes from a newsletter
Draftssaves a message to finish later, picks it up again, deletes it
Signature and contactssets an address's signature, looks up and keeps the address book
Fetchfetches new mail right away

What your assistant sends leaves from your addresses, with your domain's DKIM signature, and is filed in Sent, exactly like a message written on suite.simafri.com.

What you can ask it

  • "Summarise the unread messages in contact@ since Monday, and tell me which ones are waiting for a reply."
  • "Reply to Camille that the quote goes out tomorrow, attach the PDF that came in yesterday, and schedule it for 8 am."
  • "Archive all of this month's delivery notifications."
  • "Find the contract Julien sent me in the spring and give me its expiry date."
  • "Unsubscribe me from this newsletter and report the last two spam messages."

Connect with a connector

This is the simplest route: nothing to copy, nothing to paste. It serves assistants that add an MCP server by its address, such as Claude and ChatGPT connectors.

  1. In your assistant, add a custom connector and give it the address https://suite-mcp.simafri.com/mcp.
  2. The assistant opens suite.simafri.com: sign in as usual, with the address of your mailbox or your Simafri identity.
  3. The authorisation page shows the application requesting access: confirm the authorisation.
  4. The tools of your email appear in your assistant. Ask it, for example, to list your latest messages.

Each person on the team connects their own assistant, whatever their role on the account, and that connection acts for them.

Connect with a key

For an assistant where you set the headers yourself (Claude Code, Claude Desktop, an MCP client of your company), the connection uses an API key.

  1. The account holder opens suite.simafri.com, Settings, API keys, and creates a key.
  2. Copy the key straight away: it is shown only once.
  3. Add the server to your assistant, with the key in the Authorization header. With Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user simafri-suite https://suite-mcp.simafri.com/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY"

A key acts for the whole account: it serves the company's automation, such as a program that sorts the mail of every mailbox. For one person's assistant, the connector is the natural route.

What your assistant reaches

An assistant connected through a connector works with your rights: it sees what your screen shows you.

  • Your mailboxes: the ones you read, your own and the shared mailboxes entrusted to you, such as contact@. Each mailbox opens to the people who read it, and to their assistant alongside them.
  • What you send: it leaves from an address you read.
  • The account settings (who reads which mailbox, invitations, the shared address book) follow your role, just as on screen.
  • Your read and unread stays your own: on a shared mailbox, what your assistant marks as read stays read for you alone.

See and cut a connection

The Connected applications screen lists your connections: open it from your account menu, at the top right of suite.simafri.com. Each line shows the application, the date of the authorisation and the last time it was used.

Disconnecting an application cuts its connection immediately and completely: the assistant loses access that very second.

  • Each person sees and cuts the connections they have authorised.
  • The account holder sees and cuts every connection on the account, with the name of the person who authorised each one. When a team member leaves, a single action closes their assistant's access.
  • An API key is removed from Settings, API keys.

The account MCP server: addresses, domains, storage

A second MCP server carries the Simafri account itself, what you do on my.simafri.com. It connects the same way, through a connector, with your Simafri identity:

Account MCP serverhttps://mcp.simafri.com/v1/mcp

There, the account holder hands the running of Simafri Suite to their assistant:

  • addresses: review the reserve and the addresses, create an address with its password, give a new password, close an address. The connection sheet is shown once, so that the account holder can hand it to the person;
  • domains: the DNS lines for mail routing, their check, and moving DMARC to a stricter policy;
  • storage: the estimate for an addition, then the proforma, which the account holder pays as usual.

The same server also carries your Serenity websites and your VPS. Connect both servers to the same assistant: it then handles your account and your mail.
